This is a unique one off 964 Turbo S Flat Nose Turbolook.
76 Factory 964 Turbo S were built in 1993/1994 for the US market,
this is the only normally aspirated 964 Turbo S Flatnose Turbolook version ever built by Techart in 1994,
using a 1990 C2 Coupe as base.
Factory 964 Turbo S ducted steel Factory rear quarters were grafted on the rear,
and unique composite front fenders were made to incorporate the sleeker 993 headlights,
with 964 Turbo S bumpers used front and rear.
The interior has just recently been trimmed with new carpets, lightweight Sparco Sport Seats and Suede matching Sparco steering wheel.
The car currently has new 7" + 8" X 16 inch wheels and tires, and as well as a set of as new Techart 18" wheels Pirelli P Zeros with 2k miles on them.
The R Gruppe sporty highlights were applied in Vinyl and can easily be removed if needed.
The engine was inspected and refreshed with new seals under 5 k miles ago by a Porsche race mechanic.
It was dyno tested on 2/5/ 2016 at 250 BHP at the rear wheels.
that translates to about 298 at the crank compared to a stock C2 which produces only 247 BHP at the crank,
and torque come at 250 ft lbs, both produced at around 5.500-.
This is done with 3 modifications:
Wong programable chip
Mass flow intake unit
Special mandrel formed freeflow exhaust system.
These three simple non intrusive improvements account for a 20% gain in HP.
The engine is very user friendly and power delivery is very smooth and fuss free, although the exhaust is quite a bit noisier than stock.
This is one of the best Porsches I have ever driven, and combines speed with excellent docile manners.
This is an extremely well sorted car, it has never been raced or abused, simply used for exhibitions and trade shows at first,
then more recently uprated to a fun and enjoyable weekend fun run car with the POC.
